MANILA, Philippines – Over the years, many people have stolen money from Saragani Representative and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines, but the boxing champion said he has already forgiven these people.

In an interview with Karen Davila on ANC’s "Headstart," Pacquiao revealed that there have been many people who stole from him.

“Marami na, pero I already forgave them,” he said.

Pacquiao related the story of how one person stole money from him by forging his signature.

“Minsan, may nag-forge ng signature ko. Nagnanakaw s’ya... Pagdating ko sa America, tinanong ako, ‘Nag-withdraw ka ba last month?’ (And I answered) ‘Kararating ko lang this week,’” Pacquiao said.

“Nadiskubre ko, two years na n’ya ginagawa,” he added.

Pacquiao did not identify the thief, but admitted that he lost over $100,000 during the two years.

Last June, Forbes said Pacquiao is the 24th highest-paid athlete in the world, having earned $25 million from May 2010 to May 2011. He was the only boxer on the list at that time.

Pacquiao revealed that the most he has earned in a fight is $26 million, not including his share of the pay-per-view revenue.
