MANILA, Philippines – Undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. believes Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao is feeling pressure, which is why he started his training camp at an earlier date.
In an interview with Fight Hype, Bradley revealed that he will begin his training camp mid-April.
“But I stay moving, I stay active,” he added. “I stay up in the gym.”
When informed that Pacquiao will start training in April, Bradley said this revealed that Pacquiao was feeling the pressure.
“All the pressure is on him, because he’s supposed to demolish me,” Bradley said. “He’s got all the pressure on him. That’s why they started camp early.”
“He knows exactly what kind of tenacity I’m going to bring in that fight... so I think he is going to prepare himself very well and be the best that he can be to try and take me out,” he added.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he will not underestimate Bradley, a mistake he made in his last fight against Mexican rival Juan Manuel Marquez.
“Magaling din ‘yung, champion din ‘yun,” Pacquiao said of Bradley.
